1. Controller

2. No cookies, no tracking

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or advertising services and loads no external fonts, scripts or maps. There is no contact form and there are no user accounts.

3. Hosting and server logs

The website and the calculator are hosted by Render: Render Services, Inc., 525 Brannan Street, Suite 300, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Render acts as our processor (Art. 28 GDPR, data processing agreement). When pages are requested, Render processes technically necessary data (e.g. IP address, time, requested page, browser) in server logs to deliver the website securely and prevent abuse. Retention: Render deletes these logs automatically after a short time (a few days depending on the plan, at most 30 days); we do not analyse them. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Contact by email

If you write to us, we use your details only to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). We delete messages when no longer needed, at the latest when statutory retention periods expire (up to 6 years for business correspondence, Art. 30 Código de Comercio). Email provider: One.com (Denmark, EU).

5. Questionnaire

The questionnaire runs entirely in your browser. Your answers are not stored and not sent to us. Only when you click «Open calculator» are the details passed to the calculator as part of the address (URL).

6. Calculator (app.solemo.es)

The calculator is a separate application on the subdomain app.solemo.es, hosted by Render (server location Frankfurt, EU). An uploaded PDF bill or CSV file is read in memory only and discarded after the session; it is not stored. For the PVPC comparison the calculator retrieves public price data from Red Eléctrica (REE); none of your data is transmitted.

For the running report number and the counter of free reports we store, in a private data store at GitHub (GitHub, Inc., USA), only the number, a timestamp and a non-reversible checksum (SHA-256) of the uploaded files or entries – no bill content, names, addresses or contract data. Retention: until the end of the free offer or the calendar year of the number, then deletion. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The calculator sets only one technically necessary security cookie (_streamlit_xsrf, protection against forged requests, e.g. when uploading; valid for the session). No consent is required for this (Art. 22(2) LSSI-CE). On the «Calculator» page the application is only embedded after your click.

7. Transfers to third countries

Render and GitHub are based in the USA. Transfers are based on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (both companies are certified) and additionally on EU standard contractual clauses. We do not pass data to third parties for advertising.

8. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. Write to info@solemo.es. You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish data protection authority: Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD), www.aepd.es.

9. Changes

If we add services later (e.g. Google Search Console verification), we will update this notice first. As of: 11/2026.
